it s great to have the rectangular design and extra width for a change It is unusual to find a sleeping mat which combines comfort small pack size lightweight and warmth There is usually a compromise to be found but with this there is not Therm-a-rest have got it spot on We use ours for lightweight family camping family camping without the aid of a car so it needed to be comfortable enough for a week s use but small and light enough to be carried to a remote campsite Only down side is it s slight rustly noise not enough to cause any real issues though I would not hesitate to take this backpacking as well a real luxury
