The Therm-a-Rest Vela Down Blanket is an ultra-lightweight ultra-comfortable & luxurious quilt that contains Nikwax reg Hydrophobic Down & Therma Capture backed seams in an oversized blanket form to offer a fantastic night s sleep on your next camping trip This Vela range has been updated by Therm-a-Rest who replaced the normal down of last year s model with Nikwax Hydrophobic Down This stays dry & retains loft six times longer than untreated down improving performance It can also be refreshed easily with the use of Nikwax Down Wash & Downproof making it a practical choice They also added Therma Capture backed seams which is basically a thin strip of reflective tape behind each baffle seam to reduce radiant & convective heat loss which makes this an amazing blanket that is so lightweight & compressible ideal for adding a bit of luxury to your next trip We have all taken normal household blankets & quilts with us when camping but this one is in a league of its own Clever design of the elasticized footbox hooking over the end of the sleeping mat to keep it in place while still offering you fantastic freedom of movement A self-adhesive loop kit that is included if you want to attach the quilt to your mat These quilts have full length side baffles helping keep the blanket in place & prevent drafts The Vela Blanket comes with two stuff sacks one mesh stuff sack ideal for storing your quilt when you are not using it The other a stuff sack so that you can minimise the pack size of your quilt ideal for backpacking & travelling This luxurious compact & lightweight quilt is so incredibly versatile & absolutely the best around Please note the mattress & mattress sheet in the picture are not included
