- allowing you to adjust the torso length quickly & easily even whilst on the move Providing 10cm of adjustment the Capstone 40L will fit a wide range of hikers The Mesh back panel not only provides support distributing the load across your back but also provides unparalleled breathability keeping you cool & dry through the summer months However if you can see those rainclouds rolling in don t worry the high visibility rain cover will keep your belongings dry & protected Stored in a dedicated compartment on the base of the bag the rain cover packs away neatly when not in use The large shove-it pocket on the front of the bag is large enough for a waterproof layer or perhaps an extra fleece meaning these spare layers as always close to hand The lid compartment safely & securely stores your valuables first aid kits or other accessories whilst the lower compression straps can secure a sleeping mat or small tent on longer weekend hikes The lower zippered section offers access to the main body of the bag providing easy access to the trail side snacks & other items On each side of the bag is a stretch pocket which can easily carry a 1 litre water bottle These pockets have been placed in a particular way ensuring that you can access the bottles without taking the bag off The back is hydration compatible with a dedicated pocket in the main body of the bag for your reservoir & a small exit hole for the reservoir hose on the top of the bag The discreet webbing loops tucked into the side of the bag allow for trekking poles or ice axes for the more adventurous to be safely stowed away The Capstone 40L is also compatible with Thule s Versa Click accessories & comes with a handy Versa Click Pole Holder which allows for another way to carry trekking poles Whether you re trekking along the South West Coast Path over a weekend or hiking through Snowdonia for an ambitious 30 miler the Capstone 40L will be a welcome addition to your kit list Its sleek looks & design mean it is a joy to use & Thule s reputation for quality certainly shines through here
